Burst pipe, sewage coming up, water through the ceiling. Call 0403 404 307, day or night, and you’ll speak to Peter, the plumber who’ll come out.
Any of these? Don’t type, call. 0403 404 307, any hour.
We aim to respond to all enquiries within one business day.

Four things that limit the damage before Peter gets there. Safe actions only.
Usually in a box near the front boundary, sometimes under leaf litter or behind a hedge. Turn clockwise until it stops.
Electric: switch it off at the switchboard. Gas: turn the unit to off or pilot.
If water is near power points or lights, switch off at the switchboard if it’s safe to reach. Don’t touch anything wet.
Don’t use switches or flames. Turn off the gas at the meter if you can, get everyone outside, and call Peter. If the smell is strong, call the gas network’s leak line on 131 909 first.
Genuine emergencies go to the front of the queue. Most other jobs are better booked, and cheaper for you. Not sure which yours is? Call anyway and we’ll tell you honestly.
A burst or split pipe, or no water at all.
Sewage backing up into the house or yard, or a toilet that won’t stop overflowing.
Water coming through a ceiling or a light fitting.
A smell of gas. Leave the area first, then call.
A dripping tap, a slow drain or a gurgle.
A toilet that keeps refilling.
A small drip from the hot water relief valve.
No hot water, but nothing leaking and nothing wet.
If it’s on the left, call. If it’s on the right, call anyway and we’ll book the next slot that suits you.
When a genuine emergency comes in, it goes to the front of the queue. If that means moving a booked job, the customer affected gets a straight phone call about it, not silence. It’s how we’d want to be treated if it were our ceiling coming down.
We’ll tell you honestly when we can get to you. Peter is based in Gordon, so an emergency on the Upper North Shore is usually a short drive, and the Lower North Shore is a straight run down the highway.
Peter Pan Plumbing takes emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays. The person who answers is the plumber who comes out.
Burst, backing up, coming through the ceiling, or gas.
If you’ve found the mains and turned it off, say so. If you can’t find it, Peter will talk you to it.
Which room, and whether it’s near power points or lights.
Gate codes, a dog in the yard, a unit number. Anything that saves minutes.
Phone quotes are free. You know the price before any work starts.
The person who answers the phone at 2am is the plumber who turns up. No call centre, no handovers.
We tell you when we can get there, and we call if that changes. No silence.
An emergency call-out still gets the cause fixed and the mess cleaned up, not a temporary job and a second invoice.
Straight answers from Peter. Still not sure? Call and ask.
Anything that’s actively damaging your home or isn’t safe: a burst pipe, sewage backing up, water through a ceiling or near electrics, no water at all, or a smell of gas. If you’re not sure, call and we’ll tell you.
Turn the water off at the mains, isolate the hot water unit, keep clear of anything wet near power, and call. If you smell gas, get everyone outside first.
Yes. 24 hours, 7 days, including weekends and public holidays. Call 0403 404 307 and you’ll speak to Peter.
We work across the Upper and Lower North Shore, from Wahroonga to Waverton. Peter is based in Gordon, so most of it is a short drive. Not sure? Call and ask.
Yes. Peter will give you a price on the phone before he leaves, and phone quotes are free, day or night.
Sewage backing up is nearly always a blocked main line. After the emergency clear, a camera inspection shows why, so it doesn’t happen again.
A burst pipe gets fixed on the night. The water that got into walls and floors is worth checking once things are dry.
A gas smell is an emergency first and a gas fitting job second. Peter is licensed for both.
Day or night. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll talk you through what to do until we arrive.
Peter answers, or calls you straight back if he’s under a house. He’ll ask a few questions, give you a price, and tell you honestly when he can get there.
